Anka’s Dream and Pim

Pim:’Anka, it seems that you’re brooding on something. You’re so lost in thought and ‘stilled’. Are you pregnant or something?

Anka: ‘Pim, some of the things you say often sound funny or even ‘fruitless’. But to follow your line of thinking; I’m sort of ‘impregnated’.

Pim: ‘what on earth do you mean by that? You’re turning yourself into a riddle and me insecure because of this cryptical self-expression.’

Anka:’I’m heavy with an ideal and a dream…’

Pim: ‘tell me, do tell! I just love fairy tales, fables and legends in this hard and tarnished world…’

Anka:’listen Pimmie, really without interrupting me…’

Pim: ‘I cannot make any promises in that regard…’

Anka: as you know Bush babbles all the time about: the axis of evil. I dreamed that three Dutch mayors created ‘the axis of good’. The city fathers of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Nijmegen.

That they, with joint forces, in Utrecht would assemble the axis of good into the wheel of the world. Three cities forming a trinity and an axis of good directed against the Middle East and Washington. Three mayors with their hearts on the right place, as fighters for peace…… they could set an example for the world….’

Pim:’I’m falling silent………. What beautiful dreams you have, Anka.’
